Dustin Lynch Releases “Momma’s House” & Reveals New Album Details

Dustin Lynch Momma's House

Singer-songwriter and Grand Ole Opry member, Dustin Lynch released the tracklist for his upcoming fourth studio album, Tullahoma along with a new song titled “Momma’s House”. The album, named after his home town in Tennessee, will be released on January 17th and will feature eleven songs, including the three on the Ridin’ Roads EP and his latest number one song “Good Girl”.

When you first read the title, “Momma’s House” you’d expect the lyrics to discuss how sweet his mom is and what a great job she did raising him. However, it is a breakup song about how his ex ruined his hometown for him as every bar and every street corner reminds him of her and a memory they shared. The “Seein’ Red” singer admits in the song “I’d burn this whole town down if it wasn’t for my Momma’s House”. The track was written by Dylan Schneider, Michael Lotten, Rodney Clawson and Justin Wilson.

Tullahoma is expected to his Lynch’s most personal project yet, featuring lyrics about his hometown, nostalgia, hardships and growing up.

“Every song on Tullahoma, there’s a reason it’s there,” Lynch explained in a recent press release. “A lot of that points back to the people who raised me, and growing up with a lifestyle where I could go outside and have fun, explore and try new things in the great outdoors. It’s kind of about being that kid and learning all those things. That’s my story, but I think we all can relate to the kid who’s discovering, the kid who’s figuring out love for the first time, all that good stuff.”

Tullahoma features big names in songwriting including Corey Crowder, Jordan Schmidt, Ashley Gorley, Rhett Akins, Zach Crowell, Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley, Old Dominion’s Matt Ramsey, the late producer/songwriter busbee and many more! Lauren Alaina will feature on the album’s third track, “Thinking ‘Bout You”.

Lynch will hit the road to headline his Stay Country Tour with special guest Travis Denning starting in Detroit on January 30th. A portion of each sale will benefit Lynch’s Cowboys and Angels Fund supporting various philanthropic causes including an intentional focus on children’s charities. For tickets, head to his website.
