Dylan Scott Sings “Nobody” in a 100-Year-Old Church

Gearing up for the April release of his EP Nothing to Do Town, singer-songwriter Dylan Scott released another song entitled “Nobody.” The track follows previously released title track, “Nothing to Do Town” and most recently, the ballad, “You Got Me.” The hitmaker premiered “Nobody” with a stripped-down live video performance of the song.

Scott titled the video “Nobody (The Nashville Sessions),” leading fans to believe that there may be more live videos for new songs in the future. The video was filmed at Ocean Way Nashville Recording Studios, a 100-year-old Gothic Revival-style grey stone church with its stained glass acting as a backdrop and a full-band acting as support. The singer-songwriter’s smooth and passionate vocals were on full display, as he belts the lyrics into a microphone.

Girl nobody, nobody, nobody, gonna love you like I do / Yeah nobody, nobody, nobody, gonna love you like I do / I’m gonna love you till the good Lord comes back for me you /Yeah nobody, nobody, nobody gonna love you like I do,” he sings in the catchy chorus.

The song is a slow-paced and confident love song, co-written by Scott. The lyrics tell the story of a man noticing the attention his partner is getting but reassured by the fact that “nobody” can match their passion, affection, and love for each other. The song has a similar vibe to Scott’s past hit song, “My Girl.”

Currently, Scott is on the road with country singer, Seth Ennis, on his headlining ‘Nothing To Do Town Tour.’ We caught the tour at the sold-out show at Gramercy Theatre in midtown Manhattan back in January. Check out our recap of the night here. For more tour dates and ticket information head to dylanscottcountry.com. Scott will also be performing at CMA Fest in Nashville this June at the free Riverfront Stage.
