Some of our New York followers might not be familiar with Nashville’s Carson Beyer yet, but he’s not one to be missed. Small town born and raised, his songs ring true with the heart of what country is about. His single, “Bones” is extremely catchy, and full of passion and drive and now his latest release, “Cheatin’” feels like someone sitting in an old beat-up bar pouring out his heart, and building up to the passion of the chorus. With a name like “Cheatin’”, you definitely think it has a negative connotation about someone in this relationship betraying the other, but it turns out to be the beginnings of a love story.
“This ain’t the buzz I’m used to catching, this ain’t the place I hang around / Girl I know that bottle loves me, but after all the hell its put me through/ I been cheatin’ on, cheatin’ on, cheatin’ on, whiskey with you”
With the grit and tone of Eric Church, a solid guitar solo, and an acoustic section, Carson gives you everything you want in the new generation of country music: just a little bit of pop, but not too much. We love supporting up and coming artists and Beyer is sure to be one of those.
“Cheatin” is now available everywhere you buy or stream music. Take a listen below and check out more new recently released music here on our ‘New Country Music’ playlist. Be sure to give the playlist a follow for your weekly new country music fix.
The Hero Collection by NYCountry Swag is inspired by the men and women of the Fire, Police and Military Departments across the country. A portion of sales from each purchase is donated to different foundations that support our heroes. We are dedicated to honoring their service and remembering their sacrifice.
