5 Unreleased Cuts From Instagram That We Are Loving

Maybe it’s just us, but it seems that it is now trendy for country artists to give fans a taste of what’s to come via Instagram. We are noticing that so many singer-songwriters are previewing unreleased materials and even demos to fans via their social media, just to keep fans excited.

Whatever the reason, we are absolutely loving it! We shared some of our favorites last year, here and here, and now we’re sharing some of our new faves from the past few weeks.

1. “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old”- Luke Combs

One of our saving graces during this past year, Luke Combs continues to be a man that is all about the fans! Recently, he posted a video of himself singing a new unreleased tune that could easily fit into his latest project. “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” is a must record!

2. “Mama Prayed For”- Meghan Patrick

One of the most unique picks on our list, Meghan Patrick’s unreleased song “Mama Prayed For” is a masterpiece in the making. The Canadian country star is on the brink of success here in the states. It is only a matter of time! This particular song features her insane vocal range, her unique songwriting, and her ability to relate through her music.

3. “No Hard Feelings”- Old Dominion

Honestly, Old Dominion can do no wrong in our eyes. “No Hard Feelings” has already got fans asking when it is going to be released. Clearly, in the songwriting mode, the men of Old Dominion are cranking out demo after demo this year, and we are here for it! This unreleased jam will be a perfect addition to their setlist.

4. “Perfect Imperfections”- Tucker Beathard

Tucker Beathard has been quietly doing his thing on social media all quarantine long. He is not one to fight for attention, continuously proving that he is an artist above all else. Although there were a few unreleased tracks to choose from, “Perfect Imperfections” captured our hearts. The mellow and emotional tune is all about love and recognizing all the details about your partner. Swoon-worthy for sure!

5. Untitled- Madison Kozak

Madison Kozak is one of our favorite singer-songwriters on the scene right now. Her voice is strong, yet ethereal, but it is her ability to craft a lyric that gets us every time. She has been having a lot of fun sharing her writes and demos on social media, but this untitled song is tugging at our heartstrings the most.

NYCS First Impression Tucker Beathard ‘King’

Tucker Beathard is an expert at taking personal journal entries and turning them into a lyrical masterpiece with unique music to accompany the heartfelt words. Unlike some artists in the genre, Beathard does not hide any part of who he is from his fans. From heartbreak to grief to joy, the singer-songwriter shares it all on his brand new record KING.

“I decided to name this album in honor of my little brother Clay, with King being his middle name,” Beathard shared via his social media, adding, “From top to bottom this album is a product of the highs and lows, and everything in between that the past few years have been. Through all of it, I’ve realized that at the end of the day there’s only one true King, and his kingdom is not of this world.”

This sentiment perfectly reflects the singer’s new project. Each of the thirteen tracks portrays a different journey that Beathard has experienced, and allows fans a deeper look into his soul and artistry. Songs like “Find Me Here” and “I Ain’t Without You” root the album in faith, which seems to be a driving force in the singer’s life.

One of the most poignant songs of the whole project is “I Ain’t Without You.” The heartbreaking, somber ballad once again leans on the power faith. Written about his late brother’s untimely passing, the singer-songwriter wrote the track with his father, fellow songwriter, Casey Beathard. Being able to write such a powerful and personal song is truly what Beathard does best. “So I keep holdin’ on with everything I got in me / To every piece of your memory so the world can see / I ain’t, I ain’t, I ain’t without you”

Of course, love and heartbreak also remain as pillars of Beathard’s unique musical style. In “Can’t Stay Here’ the recording artist sings about an on-again-off-again relationship, finally making the decision that decision to break-up and end the back and forth. The concept is relatable, yet heartbreaking. In the song, Beathard somehow finds a way to convey strength in a complicated and difficult situation, a talent that truly resonates across all his songs. “You Would Think” is another powerful tune that explores the intricacies of heartbreak.

“Faithful” and “Miss You Now” further explore love and heartbreak. The former is about a couple that is ready to give their all to each other, while the heart-pumping “Miss You Now” is full of Beathard’s signature, gritty voice as it explores all the things that you remind you of a person, but gently, the settings and the objects start to fade, yet the memories remain. Although written in memory of his brother, this song can easily be portrayed as a song about a romantic relationship too.

For fans that prefer the rock-country side of Beathard, “Better Than Me” and “Paper Town” are for you. The former is a previously released jam that pokes fun at the break-up tunes that were written during the punk-rock days of bands like Simple Plan and Blink 182. The music video makes the song really come to life, and it is the perfect track for live shows. “Paper Town” is another guitar-heavy tune that is made for long car rides with the windows down; despite, the deep and thought-provoking content. “Too Drunk” is another song, a drinking song, that fans must add to their car playlist.

Long time fans of Beathard might recognize one of our favorite tracks, “20/10 TN.” The song has been around for years, but the singer finally recorded it. The football-inspired song is full of imagery about love and redemption. “Just had to let you know, it’s 7-zip Tennessee / And by the way I meant to say, that I’m sorry ‘bout last night / I didn’t mean to make you cry / Did you really mean goodbye?”

Beathard is one of the most promising artists in the Nashville scene right now. He knows exactly who he is and the music he wants to release to fans. If he continues down this trajectory, we are confident that the singer will cement himself in country music history. KING is just another example of his one of a kind talent.

Tucker Beathard Announces Monster Energy Outbreak Tour

Announced earlier today, Tucker Beathard will head out on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour this fall. He is just the next artist in a long line of superstars who have been supported by the brand. Previous Monster Energy Outbreak Tour alumni include Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, The Chainsmokers, Post Malone, Kane Brown and more.

“I’m really looking forward to hitting the road for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour,” shared Beathard. “I’ve always said I feel most at home on the road, so it’ll be great to get back out there, hang with some of the fans again and hopefully gain some new ones along the way too.”

Tucker Beathard Releases Fun 90s Inspired Video for “Better Than Me”

Tucker Beathard Better Than Me

After dropping arguably his most honest and heart-wrenching ballad to date, “Find Me Here” just last month, Warner Music Nashville’s most recently signed singer-songwriter, Tucker Beathard does a complete 180 debuting a fun and playful music video for his current single, “Better Than Me.”

Beathard is known for releasing raw and vulnerable music, with authenticity laced as the common thread between all his tracks. “Better Than Me” is said to be one of the tracks off the second installment of Beathard’s soon to be released two-part album. The first LP was released back in November, entitled Nobody’s Everything.

The accompanying visuals, directed by renowned director Justin Clough, is a new take on the message told by the honest lyrics. Beathard takes inspiration from the late 90s and early 2000s punk rock videos from bands like Blink 182 and Simple Plan. The video cuts back and forth between Beathard and his band playing the song in what appears to be a basement and to Beathard and his hijinks, while he works at a local diner. He consistently makes attempts to sabotage his ex-girlfriend’s new relationship. The music video shows a different side to Beathard’s typically serious persona, giving fans a look at his fun, sarcastic, and silly side, which is equally as charming.

Beathard seemed to enjoy himself, while shooting the video, sharing in a recent press release, “The fun thing about music videos is that it gives you the chance to offer up a whole other perspective to a song. We definitely went in a sarcastic direction and brought in the style of the videos I loved growing up.” Adding via his Twitter, “Proof that I”m not always as serious as people may think. I had a blast shooting this video, and now I am so excited to get to share it with you.”

We can’t wait to see what the singer-songwriter has up his sleeve next. He continues to successfully push the envelope with each and every release while showcasing his unique artistry. Tucker Beathard Confesses His Vices To God in “Find Me Here”

Warner Music Nashville’s most recently signed recording artists and songwriters, Tucker Beathard has committed to authenticity when releasing new music. While his standout “Better Than Me”, is all about a relationship ending, “Find Me Here” is reflective, focusing on the inner soul rather than external connections. The track is dripping with honesty and is the second release from the forthcoming second chapter of his double debut album. Beathard cowrote the song with Monty Criswell and Phil O’Donnell.  “This song is my confession to the man upstairs,” shared Beathard in a recent press release. “Because it’s such a vulnerable, personal and emotional song, the only way to fully capture that when recording it was by waiting till about 3 AM. That way I could fully get into that headspace, while my voice was tired as we recorded this as a live take with just me and a guitar.”

The accompanying visual, also released today, is simple, Beathard is sitting on the trunk of an old car, picking an acoustic guitar, baring his soul to God in front of the motel rooms he sings about. “I wish I was on a plane, or hoppin’ trains or standing with my thumb in the air, waving down a cab somewhere /Granted, I don’t want to be caught in room 316, with a hotel Bible as a coaster underneath my beer / Lord, if you decide tonight’s the night you’re comin’ back, I hope you don’t find me here”

During the second verse, he is found sitting on the bed in that same dingy motel room, and as you peer into this private conversation between a sinner and his saving grace, you can’t help but relate. We recently caught Beathard at Mercury Lounge where his intimate show proved he can perform the rock-heavy anthems just as well as these quiet messages. “Find Me Here” is a moment during the show where you could hear every single breath he took before each word, the crowd captivated waiting to hear the next line. Tucker Beathard Plays An Intimate Show at Mercury Lounge in NYC

Tucker Beathard returned to New York last night to play at the intimate Mercury Lounge. Opener Everest Cale – a band named “Brooklyn’s Least Brooklyn Band” by Interview Magazine. Frontman Brett Treacy got the crowd pumped up but also played a few slower more emotional songs, like “Goodbye” off their EP titled Beast. They covered Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic” and had the crowd swaying and singing along.

Tucker Beathard and his band took the stage, dressed in all black singing “Faithful”. The crowd was fired up and sang along with almost every song as Beathard poured his heart out from one song to the next – songs full of emotions and truth. The track “Brother” was full of memories and words of support. He briefly touched on the history with his former label and how grateful he is to now have a label (Warner Music Nashville) behind him who will let him write and create the music he wants. “Leave Me Alone” was filled with raw emotion and feeling, belting out “Just leave me alone/Just let me let go/I won’t be your backup/Better than nothin’/Or your anything”. It seemed everyone in the room could have identified with that song at that moment.

The singer-songwriter then asked the crowd “Y’all ready to crank it up a little bit”. He introduced the band and they rocked out for the song “Whiskey In A Wine Glass” and for a moment you were no longer at a country show. You were watching a musician play what he wants to play and put every bit of energy into those songs and the show without having to conform to a specific genre of music. Beathard asked for requests from the audience during an acoustic portion of the show and sat on the stage with a guitar, throwing it back to “20-10 Tennesee”

He said, “I am really blessed to call this my job and I appreciate y’all paying money to come out tonight”. He said he was going to dedicate his next song to the military and expressed his thanks for anyone that serves and performed “Fight Like Hell”. Throughout the course of the night, the crowd had yelled and shouted for the band to play his hit “Rock On” and for the last song of his 90-minute set, he gave the crowd what they asked for saying “I want everyone singing this” – and he got just that. Everyone in the room cheered once the beat started and sang along to every last word. Tucker Beathard is a true talent and phenomenal musician and should be on everyone’s radar as one to watch!

NYCS First Impression: Tucker Beathard ‘Nobody’s Everything’

“Sometimes following your heart means not knowing where you’re going, how you’re going to get there, who’s going with you, when it’ll pay off or when it’ll make sense as to why you followed it in the first place.” This is the sentiment expressed by country singer-songwriter Tucker Beathard today via his Twitter, about his journey to album release day. After a less than easy journey to “make it” in country music, his debut album, Nobody’s Everything is finally available. The record is truly one of a kind and an inside look into Beathard’s feelings and growth as not only an artist and musician, but as a human being.

The first half of a two part album was released today which features nine tracks, including “Leave Me Alone”, which the singer dropped a music video for earlier in this week. The second part of the LP is slated to drop early 2019, with nine more songs to look forward to. Beathard depicts the independent album as authentic to who he is, which one can attribute to the project’s refreshing sound, story-telling lyrics, and overall vibe.

The record is the entertainer’s unapologetic take on the events he has experienced in his life, beginning with the first track entitled “Ride On”. The song encourages listeners to keep the past in the past and continue to “Ride On” to one’s soul’s journey. Co-written by Beathard, it is easy to see how his experiencing becoming an independent artist inspired the lyrics: “I always act like I don’t care / When the black tops go nowhere / Keep my head down, tough it out, don’t think about how life ain’t fair / And Ride On”.

With a similar lyrical vibe of “Leave Me Alone,” a therapeutic and emotive track about wanting closure, “Hate It” is another heartbreaking song, where the singer tries to work through feelings of still wanting a broken relationship. The song is another example of a track, where Beathard pours his heart out, singing some of the most honest lyrics that can be written. “I just don’t want to see you with anyone, but me / Now I can barely breathe, drowning in my jealousy/ I know, I never been the kind to leave my heart out on the line / it’s too damn hard to fake it and keep saying that I’m fine / I hate it / I still love you and I hate it”

Keeping with the theme of honesty, “This Life” follows “Hate It,” as the second to last song on the record. Beathard premiered a music video for the vulnerable track with Billboard today. Check out the video above. Although the song can be about a lot of different circumstances, for the singer, his inspiration stemmed from being a teenager in the music industry, who was susceptible to “sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll”. This song is real, raw, and emotional, exactly what country music is all about.

Finally, Beathard closes the record out with the heartfelt, “How Gone Will I Go”. The beautiful notion about this track is that it can be applied to some many facets of life and, depending what a person’s going through, it can evoke a different type of message and emotion for each person. “I’ll be back, sure goes with denial / It’s so easy to say, to tell me why I ain’t so / How gone will I go? (3x) / Tell me I ain’t that gone”

Overall, Nobody’s Everything may be one the most honest and raw albums that have been released this year. Beathard’s musical ability and songwriting talent, far surpasses that of any former released songs by the artist. Tucker Beathard Releases Music Video for “Leave Me Alone”

Tucker Beathard first entered the country music scene back in 2016, when he had mainstream success with his debut single, “Rock On”.  Currently, the singer-songwriter decided to hone his creative freedom, as an independent artist.  Beathard will be dropping his debut full-length album, Nobody’s Everything, on November 30th.  The artist gave fans a preview of one of the tracks on the album, releasing a music video for his song “Leave Me Alone.”

Beathard shared with Rolling Stone his inspiration for the song and his state of mind, after relinquishing a working relationship with his former label, stating, “I was kind of in a funk, seeing people you thought had your back leave and lose faith in you, and feeling like you had this pressure. I was pushed to the emotional limit, but that song broadened my horizons as a songwriter, in terms of just melodically yelling something and tapping into a whole new thing.”

The music video features Beathard pouring his heart out, playing guitar, in an empty venue, with clips mixed in of the singer releasing his emotions as he breaks items in a small room. Both the music video and the song evoke a different type of message, as the lyrics are a plea to an ex-lover to let go of the relationship, so that he can move on and grieve the emotional turmoil. The fresh new sound is sure to resonate with country music fans. The entertainer co-wrote the song, along with the 8 other tracks, slated to be on ‘Part 1’ of the record. The singer-songwriter dedicated his record and the release of the “Leave Me Alone” music video to his “day ones, who’ve stuck with [him],” his loyal fans, via his Twitter.
